PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin depositing and dispensing machine capable of performing detailed inspection processing in a short time. SOLUTION: Each of storing and feeding parts 27a for respective denominations is provided with: a first storing part 51 having a belt conveyor 53 receiving coins, which are inserted and selected and sorted by denomination; a second storing part 52, which is installed above the first storing part 51 for housing coins separately from the first storing part 51 and provided with a bottom part positioned above the belt conveyor 53 in a closed state and moved in the coin conveying direction of the belt conveyor 53 in an opened state; a conveying means 60 receiving coins, which are conveyed by the belt conveyor 53 in the first conveying part 51 to be dropped from its terminal end, to convey them one by one; a discrimination means 69 discriminating dominations of the coins conveyed by the conveying means 60 and counting the coins; and a coin sorting means 70 selectively sorting the coins discriminated and counted by the discrimination means 69 to a coin dispensing port and to the second storing part 52.
