PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet counting machine for quickly and accurately reading RFID tag information by counting paper sheets to which RFID tags are attached one by one, selling terminal equipment in which the paper sheet counting machine is integrated and a counting method suitable for the selling terminal equipment. SOLUTION: First and second accumulation parts 23 and 24 are arranged at a front face 1a side of the body of a paper sheet counting machine 3, and a counting part 33 is arranged in a conveyance path region 29a following a delivery mechanism 26. This paper sheet counting machine 3 is provided with RFID tags R/W 35A and 35B installed on conveyance path regions 29b and 29c following the conveyance path region 29a for communicating with an RFID tags attached to a tickets T to be conveyed in the middle of conveyance; a branching part 34 installed just after the conveyance path region 29c for branching an abnormal ticket T' to be stored in a second integration part 24; and a first integration part 23 for storing the normal ticket T.
