PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein new instrument information cannot be registered when the number of registrations reaches an upper limit, if the number of the registerable instrument information is restricted by the upper limit, even if there are instrument information that are no longer necessary, in the registered instrument information. SOLUTION: A flow rate measuring apparatus includes a storage memory 8 as a flow rate information storage means; and a registered instrument information removing means 11 for selectively removing the registered instrument information stored in the storage memory 8 and satisfying predetermined conditions. Even if the number of the registered instrument information reaches the upper limit, the instrument information no longer necessary can be removed, and the new instrument information can be registered, in place of the instrument information removed.
