PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device for an external wall joint bead, which is excellent in joint waterproofness and joint decorative performance, is free from the risk of damaging or slipout of an external wall, and facilitates maintenance of the external wall. SOLUTION: The mounting device is formed of a band-shaped joint bead, a mounting fitting, and a fixing block. The joint bead has a fixing wall protruding from a vertical intermediate portion toward a rear surface, and has elastic water cutoff members arranged at an upper end and the vertical intermediate portion, in a manner protruding toward the rear surface. The mounting fitting is made of thin metallic plates, and consists of a pinching plate, a positioning piece, a press-contacting piece, and engaging pieces. The joint bead and the mounting fitting are bound to each other by a screw at a location outside the water cutoff members. The fixing block is held by the pinching piece of the mounting fitting.
