PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support frame which can quickly and easily set a frame portion on the outside of an external wall surface of a building without damaging the building, and to provide a method of setting the same, and the building. SOLUTION: The support frame is formed of: the frame portion 130 overhanging outward from the external wall surface of the building 10 in the almost horizontal direction; hanging members 120, 122 connected to the frame portion, for hanging the frame portion from above; a counterweight 102 mounted inside the external wall surface of the building, for keeping a balance with respect to the weight of the frame portion; a support body 110 having one end thereof connected to an upper end of the hanging member and the other end thereof connected to the counterweight; and a fulcrum portion 150 arranged on the support body, for supporting the weight of the frame portion and the weight of the counterweight, by a fulcrum.
