PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that antibacterial actions, deodorizing actions, antifouling actions and the like of a titanium oxide-based photocatalyst are not exhibited or are very weak in a lightless state (in the night or in the dark) and that, when the photocatalyst is admixed with an organic adherend, the adherend is itself deteriorated. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component (A), 0.1-50 pts.wt. of a photocatalyst (B) and 0.1-50 pts.wt. of a light-accumulating agent (C).
