PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft capsule film composition which is a capsule film composition prepared by using a non-animal raw material as a main raw material, is inhibited in the stickiness on the surface of a film sheet, and has a film strength capable of enduring continuous production in a factory production of a rotary die type filling machine, etc., and enables the production of a good soft capsule preparation having a high bonding property. SOLUTION: The soft capsule film composition comprises a mixture of a processed starch, native type gellan gum, deacylated gellan gum, a plasticizer and water, and provides mix-using the native type gellan gum with deacylated type gellan gum and blending dextrin with the processed starch.
