PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check treatment device capable of preventing a stored check from being drawn in a space between a front end plate of a storage pocket and a feed-in roller. SOLUTION: The check treatment device 1 has a storage pocket 13 formed of a longitudinally long rectangular groove. A feed-in roller 40 for feeding in a check 6 into the storage pocket 13 is arranged adjacent to a front end plate 33 of the storage pocket 13. The feed-in roller 40 has a roller body 41 and a small-diameter part 42 having the diameter smaller than that of the roller body 41. A draw-in preventive plate 53 which partially closes a space B between the feed-in roller 40 and the front end plate 33 with its fore end 53a reaching a space between an outer circumferential surface of the roller body 41 and an outer circumferential surface of the small-diameter part 42 is fitted to the front end plate 33. Even when the check 6 stored while the feed-in roller 40 and a rear end portion 6c of the check 6 are slidably brought into contact with each other is drawn into the space B, the draw-in is prevented by the draw-in preventive plate 53.
