PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus for decreasing the work and time required for die-changing work accompanying the size change of an article to be packaged. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus forms a plate-like box material 10 into a box shape using a paste while an article 20 is packaged in the box material. The apparatus includes a first pressing member 1 for pressing an outside flap 12 of the box material to an inside flap 11 of the box material and for bonding the flap 12 to the flap 11 with the paste applied to a part where the flap 12 and the flap 11 are overlapped. The member 1 has a plurality of vertical abutment parts with teeth which abut on the flap 12. The abutment parts are arranged so that the length of the teeth of the upper abutment part 1B inserted in the gap between the teeth of the lower abutment part 1A is adjustable.
