PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display stand for selling and displaying various types of merchandise. SOLUTION: This merchandise display stand includes mutually facing triangular assemblies, either triangular assembly is provided with outer slope parts 66 and 66', inner slope parts 67 and 67', intermediate base parts 68 and 68', and attachment pieces via fold lines 77' and 78', respectively; recessed grooves 73 and 74 are provided at the end portions of fold lines of both attachment pieces 70, and the end parts of the fold lines between both base parts and the inner slope face parts of both triangular assemblies, respectively; elastic members 76 are laid between the upper/lower recessed grooves in both inner slope face parts and both attachment parts of both mutually facing triangular assemblies of the necessary number of triangular assemblies installed in parallel to retain a state of tension; and diagonal line parts of a square cube are formed of both inner slope parts and both attachment parts of both triangular assemblies. A core body formed thereby is stored in respective shelf parts of a base body having high/low shelf parts, and the whole body is formed to be opened/closed by expansion/contraction of the elastic members in the diagonal line parts of the square cube.
