摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing nanoparticles which can prepare nanoparticles having a high luminescence quantum efficiency and excellent in stability. SOLUTION: The method comprises dissolving a group III element or a compound of a group III element into a coordinating organic solvent (step 1), pouring a group V element or a compound of a group V element into the obtained coordinating organic solvent (step 2), then synthesizing nanoparticles of a semiconductor of a group III-V compound by keeping the resultant product at a given temperature for a given period of time (step 3), separating the synthesized nanoparticles of the semiconductor of the group III-V compound (step 4), dispersing the separated product in an organic solvent (step 5), treating the surface of the nanoparticles of the semiconductor of the group III-V compound by irradiating them with a light after addition of a fluorinated compound into the organic solvent dispersed with the nanoparticles of the semiconductor of the group III-V compound (step 6), removing the fluorinated compound (step 7), dispersing the nanoparticles of the semiconductor of the group III-V compound into an organic solvent (step 8), and further irradiating the nanoparticles of the semiconductor of the group III-V compound dispersed in the organic solvent with a light in an inert atmosphere removed air.
