The present invention relates to methods and arrangements for switching between two states of a function in a mobile terminal. A switch trigger comprised in an LCID field of a MAC header is transmitted from the base station, wherein the trigger, when received in the terminal, is adapted for switching terminal function state from a currently employed state of function to the other state of function.
