<p>An apparatus for automatically controlling exhaust pressure of an internal combustion engine is provided to handle valve overlap effectively by increasing the exhaust pressure during low speed driving of the engine and decreasing during high speed driving. An apparatus for automatically controlling exhaust pressure of an internal combustion engine comprises a body in which an inlet and an outlet for exhaust gas are formed, a pressure regulating plate(20) rotating between the inlet and the outlet within the specific angle range, a rotation axis(25) which is combined with one edge of the pressure regulating plate and makes the rotational motion of the pressure regulating plate possible, a first side member and a second side member(60) combined with the protrusion of the rotation axis on both sides of the body, a weight(30) for setting up the initial angle of the pressure regulating plate, and a weight vane(40) which perpendicularly rotates within the certain angle range by the air resistance.</p> |
