<p>A method and an apparatus for implementing a neighbor discovery in heterogeneous network supporting a neighbor discovery function in MIH heterogeneous network handover are provided to perform IPv6(Internet Protocol version 6) application service due to adding a function to an MIH(Media Independent Handover). If it has the request for transmission of NS(Neighbor Solicitation) message requesting the information of the proximal end word, the kind of the network which the terminal connects is confirmed(410,420). The case of the net which is set up so that the net connected as described above self-process the neighbor solicitation message being, and the stored network information as described above search(430). An address the same as the address included in the neighbor solicitation message is determined by using the stored network information(450). If the same address as the address included in the neighbor solicitation message exists, the NA(Neighbor Advertisement) message is generated to the response about NS(455,460).</p> |
