METHOD AND BASE STATION TRANSCEIVER SUBSYSTEM FOR FREQUENCY ASSIGNMENT ACCORDING TO LOAD BALANCING IN EVDO SYSTEM

An FA(frequency assignment) use method in an EVDO system for improving throughput about data transmission about load balancing and a base station therefor are provided to transmit the data transfer service of the high satisfaction to a user and to read load balancing about the FA. A base station transmits information about a plurality of FA used to a terminal(S202). The base station receives the EVDO(EVolution Data Only) call transmitted from the terminal through RATI(Random Access Terminal ID) and the provisional FA which is determined by using the hash function(S204). The base station receives the EVDO call. And the base station decides whether the EVDO call is the local call whether to be hand-off call(S206). If the received EVDO call of the base station is a local call, the FA number which the base station uses is confirmed(S208). The base station selects the FA in which the amount of data traffic is small(S210). The base station assigns the resources to the FA by the terminal(S212). The base station reports the information about the FA through TCA(Traffic Channel Assignment) message to the terminal(S214).
