A sweet liquid arrowroot tea composition, and a method for preparing composition are provided to relieve hangover and to allow it to be drunken in warm and cold type irrespective of time and season. A sweet liquid arrowroot tea composition comprises 70 ~ 60 wt% of the pulverized arrowroot, 15 ~ 25 wt% of the pulverized bean, 10 ~ 5 wt% of the pulverized Glycyrrhizae Radix, and 5 ~ 10 wt% of stevioside or aspartame. Preferably the mixture of the materials are matured and fermented at 60-85 deg.C for 2-6 hours.
