A memory card changer, method for reading or writing data in memory card changer are provided to manage the discrete storage capacity of a plurality of memory cards inserted into the memory card converter. The connection part(210) exchanges the main equipment and data. The slot part(250) attaches/detaches a plurality of memory cards. The controller(230) controls to recognize the discrete storage capacity of each memory card inserted into the slot part by the main equipment.
