An image forming apparatus and a method for displaying file list of the same are provided to find the file which a user wants easily by indicating a list in the different mode by selecting the list of a plurality of print files with fixed condition. An image forming apparatus designates a condition of a print file corresponding to one among a plurality of modes indicating the lists of a plurality of print files in a display unit(S130). The image forming apparatus indicates the list of the print file corresponding to the designated condition by the displaying mode corresponding to the condition. The image forming apparatus indicates the other list of the print files by the other displaying mode among a plurality of modes together.
