METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING PERSONAL HOMEPAGE SERVICE USING SET-TOP BOX IN IPTV NETWORK

A method and a system for providing a personal home page service using a set-top box on an IPTV network are provided to effectively offer the personal home page service to the set-top box of each user without the load of a storage space in an IPTV service. A space for a personal home page and a domain address for the personal home page is assigned to the domain address for to the set-top boxes(100,100',100'') of a user. A DDNS(Dynamic Domain Naming System) server(400) is prepared on the Internet to convert the domain address for the personal home page assigned to the set-top boxes of the user into an IP(Internet Protocol) address assigned to the set-top boxes of the user.
