A method for synchronization between uplink users can be achieved as follows. A base station decides a channel transmission interval used for maintaining synchronization transmitted by each of mobile stations and a radio resource transmitting a channel used for maintaining the synchronization in order to perform synchronization between the mobile stations connected to the base station according to information indicating the state of a mobile station transmitted from the mobile station. A mobile station generates a channel used for maintaining the synchronization. According to the transmission interval and the radio resource, the mobile station performs transmission control of the channel used for maintaining the synchronization. According to the channel used for maintaining the synchronization transmitted from the mobile station in accordance with the transmission interval and the radio resource, the base station performs a correlation check and feeds back delay information to each of the mobile stations. According to the delay information transmitted from the base station, the mobile stations maintain synchronization.
