PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen the operating range of an air conditioner by lowering the temperature for operating antifreezing. SOLUTION: The controller for an air conditioner comprises a first operation mode for continuously increasing or decreasing the supply air mount of the air cooled by an evaporator 6 to obtain a dehumidifying effect, and a second operation mode for mixing the air cooled by the evaporator 6 and the air heated by a condenser 7 and then supplying the mixed air to a room to be conditioned to obtain a dehumidifying effect in such a manner that the first and second modes are selected and controlled. In this case, a set value of the second mode for operating an antifreezing operation is changed larger than that of the first mode. |
