A system and a method for an individual customized morning call service providing customized morning call contents are provided to offer the individual customized morning call contents such as morning call music, a music video, customized news, bond, stock investment information, entertainment information, a sports video, etc. pre-set by a user in a mode by the timer of a set-top box. A web server connects the Internet. A controller(91) controls each module for an IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) morning call service. An individual customized information setting unit(93) receives morning call setting information from a user terminal and sets individual customized information for a morning call reservation time and the IPTV morning call service. A WOL(Wake on LAN) wake-up frame transmitter(94) transmits a WOL wake-up frame for automatically turning on a set-top box and a DTV(Digital Television) at the morning call reservation time according to each member to the user terminal. A unit for providing individual customized morning call contents provides pre-set individual customized morning call contents at the morning call reservation time according to the each member. |
