A method of fixing a registration display assembly 1 to a vehicle 17, includes bonding the registration display assembly 1 to the vehicle 17 using an MS polymer type adhesive 19. One or more moisture carrying devices may be used to assist the MS polymer type adhesive to cure. The registration display assembly, i.e. for a number plate or license plate, preferably includes a guard device 23 to prevent access to the adhesive. The assembly is designed so that a registration code provided on film 3 is destroyed if the assembly is removed from the vehicle. The guard device forms a surround around the number plate 23, 25 for restricting access to the fixing means such that the number plate cannot be prised or otherwise forced from the vehicle. |
