A toy navigation apparatus, i.e. apparatus which imitates real apparatus in the form of a toy, e.g. a sat nav, for use with a toy having movable steering means, comprises indicating means for indicating a direction, a sensor capable of detecting a movement of the steering means and alert means. The alert means alerts the user based on the sensed steering movement dependent on whether the steering movement corresponds or not with the indicated direction. The navigation apparatus may further be arranged to indicate that the toy should be moved a certain distance, and a sensor may be provided to detect such movement. A gear stick may also be provided and the indicating means may additionally be capable of indicating that the gear stick should be moved and an appropriate sensor detects such movement. |
