A broadcast signal processing apparatus and a control method thereof for inquiring a stored electronic programming guide according to the need of a user are provided to store the electronic programming guide corresponding to an application and provide a list of the stored application. A controller implements an application for the offer of the corresponding electronic programming guide(S110). The controller recieves the storage of the electronic programming guide corresponding to the application(S120). The controller extracts broadcast program information of the application according to the indication of the user(S130). The controller performs with the extracted electronic programming guide in the storage(S140). The stored electronic programming guide is provided to a user through the output unit(S150).
