<p>The present invention relates to a method for managing and tracking sample pharmaceutical products. The method comprises a management module (104) receiving a request from a pharmaceutical module (102) for a plurality of aggregate codes. The pharmaceutical module (102) provides the plurality of aggregate codes to a prescribing module (101). The prescribing module (101) prescribes a sample pharmaceutical product to a patient by associating patient information with one of the plurality of aggregate codes and transmits a prescription and the one of the plurality of aggregate codes to a pharmacy module (103). The pharmacy module (103) dispense the sample pharmaceutical product to the patient, wherein each of the steps of receiving, providing, prescribing and dispensing further includes a step of submitting sample pharmaceutical product tracking information to the management module (104).</p> |
