<p>Disclosed herein is a brushless DC motor which can improve efficiency and starting characteristics and reduce torque ripples and noise by maximally increasing a permeance coefficient of rotating magnetic field of the brushless DC motor. The brushless DC motor of the present invention comprises an armature formed with two-phase windings having 4xn poles and auxiliary salient poles, and a rotor constructed of permanent magnets, which has a three-phase rotor angle of 6xn rotating magnetic poles, so that it can be driven by the electric power transformation and electronic commutation control device for the two-phase brushless motor.</p> |
