A solar collector comprises means for receiving rays 1 from the sun eg. lens 3, a substantially spherical internally reflective chamber 2 and means for emitting the rays eg lens 4. Hemispherical mount 9, stanchion 8, heat resistant material 15 on which rays may be focused, seals 17, slot 19 and outer cowl 16 are shown. The collector may track the sun and is used to illuminate shaded areas of a garden, patio, balcony or roof garden or brighten walls or rooms. |
