An electromotive power steering system is provided that the current amount applied to the motor is limited so that the motor temperature does not rise to the critical point. An electromotive power steering system comprises an electronic control unit(10) controlling the speed of rotation of the motor, and a temperature sensor(20) measuring the temperature of the electronic control unit and delivers temperature to the electronic control unit. The electronic control unit calculates the present temperature of the motor based on temperature and one or more input value. The electronic control unit controls the speed of rotation of the motor according to the present temperature of the motor.
