A rice-cake packaging method is provided to prevent the retrogradation of starch by quickly freezing rice cake and to extend the storage period of the rice cake. A rice-cake packaging method comprises a step for making rice cake with a traditional method; a step for producing rice cake by a piece; a step for wrapping the rice cake in a vacuum not to contact with the external air; and a step for freezing the rice cake to prevent the retrogradation of the starch of the rice cake.
