A shift cable is provided to be separated easily without the damage of the part since the ball formed in transmission is surrounded. A shift cable(10) comprises a pipe-like rod(100) connected to the end of the transmission of the wire, an end plate(200) inserted through the pipe type rod inside, a cover(300) placing the pipe type rod in interval and is connected in the end plate, and a socket(400) inserted into the inner circumference of the end plate. The inside diameter of the end plate is formed in order to be inclined. The entrance of socket becomes narrow according to the fastening force of cover.
