A traverse device of a yarn splitting machine is provided to prevent an impact or a stop of motion when rotation power is inverted into linear reciprocating motion. A traverse device of a yarn splitting machine includes a traverse(41) of a bamboo hat type, a traverse shaft(42), a power conversion device(43) for the traverse, and a control device(44) of moving distance. The traverse supplies yarn(1) supplied from a guide roller(30) to a jet bobbin(50). The jet bobbin is arranged in a frame(P) as a circular shape. The power is delivered from a power unit(60). The moving distance control device controls the distance of the traverse shaft.
