A far infrared ray generating apparatus using inorganic materials and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to radiate efficiently far infrared rays over a wide wavelength band and to reduce energy consumption by using inorganic materials of powder states. A far infrared ray generating apparatus includes a far infrared ray generator including inorganic material powders. A conductor is inserted into an inside of a powder layer in order to heat efficiently the inorganic material powders. The conductor is formed with a high heat conducting metal material having a shape of net or a shape of fine honey comb or a shape of fine lattice. A glass plate(1) or a ceramic plate are fixed on the powder layer. A far infrared ray is generated by using a ceramic heater(3) as a heating source. |
