A control method of an electric checkout system is provided to reduce an electric checkout time by parallel inspection for a plurality of items in first and second modes. A control method of an electric checkout system includes the steps of carrying out parallel inspection of a plurality of items in electronic part operation in first and second modes(S14), determining error generation in any one of the items in the first mode(S16), monitoring the error generation for the determination result from the outside(S18), and inspecting a next item of the erroneous item after the monitoring.
