<p>The stanchion rod has a stanchion stool (24) provided with two ends, which are coupled with stanchions (12, 14), respectively, such that the stanchions are simultaneously folded. The stanchions have round or oval cross-section. A support is provided at folding hinges (20, 22) of an operation device such as rod or hand lever. A pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder is arranged in the stanchions. A spring device is coupled with the stanchions, stanchion tables (16, 18) and the stool, such that expansion of the stanchions is supported by the spring device.</p> |
