An exterior component for electric home appliance is provided to prepare light parts while having the strength and texture corresponding to metal materials, and to improve productivity and processability. An exterior component for electric home appliance is made of fiber glass reinforced plastic. The exterior component comprises a base material(151), and a film(155) providing the aluminium texture on the base material. The film comprises a first PET layer for reinforcing strength, a glue layer adhering the base material and the first PET layer, an aluminum layer realizing metal texture, a second PET layer for showing color and a UV coating layer for reinforcing hardness.
