<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device which can maintain the utility of a parking brake over a long period of time, and an operating machine equipped with the locking device. <P>SOLUTION: This locking device comprises: a driving part 14 which supplies power to an axle 2b; a shift lever 15 which can be operated for the input of instructions to make an undercarriage 2 travel with respect to the driving part 14; and a locking part 18 which locks the driving part 14 so as to bring about the state of disabling the supply of the power to the axle 2b, without reference to the input operation of the shift lever 15. The locking part 18 locks the driving part 14 when a P-mode of operating the parking brake and releasing the operation of the parking brake is selected as a braking mode, and unlocks the driving part 14 when a D-mode of releasing the operation of the parking brake and a working brake is selected as the braking mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
