Synchroniser ring for a synchronisation device, friction lining blank and method for manufacturing a synchroniser ring

The ring (1) has a synchronizer ring body (2) with a friction lining (4) of thickness (D), provided at a friction surface (3). The friction lining conically extends around a synchronizer ring axis (6) at a pre-selected friction angle. A macro-geometrical slot (7) is provided in the friction lining for receiving and transporting the fluid i.e. lubricating oil, such that a flow connection for the fluid is developed between axial boundary surfaces (41, 42) of the friction lining via the macro-geometrical slot, where the friction lining is completely excluded in the region of the slot. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a friction lining-blank for manufacturing a synchronizer ring (2) a method for manufacturing a synchronizer ring.
