METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT OF RANGE TO AIR TARGET IN PASSIVE MODE

Method for measurement of range to air target in passive mode at which rotation of antennae of the system is provided / performed with respect to center of the basis. One provides rotation of antennae of system with respect to the center of basis with given angular velocity. One measures at rotation of antennae of system current angular velocity. One fixes instant of intersection of equal signal level direction of directional diagram of one of antennae of system with target with formation of first mark. One fixes instant of intersection of equal signal direction of directional diagram of another antenna with formation of second mark. One measures gap / interval of time between the first and the second mark, and range to target is calculated by time interval between the first and the second mark.
