SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF WIRELESS NETWORK DOWN LINK

A system and a method for analyzing performance of a wireless network down link are provided to model a wireless interval between a mobile terminal and a base station by reflecting various algorithms such as channel model and power control performed in the wireless interval of a broadband wireless mobile communication system and predict a wireless environment based on collected service traffic of an actual network. Traffic of each mobile terminal is determined(S110,S120). An analyzing device determines whether the analysis time set elapses by comparing a frame corresponding to the analysis time set with a current frame(S130,S140). The analyzing device calculates propagation loss between each mobile terminal located in a service area and a base station located in sectors. The analyzing device designates a specific sector having the largest propagation loss as a service sector with regard to a specific mobile terminal(S160). The analyzing device calculates a carrier to interface ratio by analyzing a signal received from the mobile terminal to the base station in the service sector. The analyzing device calculates data transmitting speed and a data transmitting amount of the corresponding network based on the carrier to interface ratio(S180,S190). The analyzing device performs scheduling for assigning priority to mobile terminals located in the service sector(S210).
