A ubiquitous home system is provided to load a ubiquitous home service related menu in a digital TV, thereby enabling a user to use various multimedia, home network and communication services simply by a remote controller while watching TV. A settop box(100) is installed at home and connected to various electronic appliances(20). The settop box transceives an external control signal through a digital TV(10) to provide a ubiquitous home service including broadcast, internet, multimedia, home network and contents. A home network system(200) comprises an integrated gateway. The integrated gateway(150) mutually converts the external control signal through interface between an external network and a wire/wireless home network. The home network system provides control of electronic appliances and living services.
