A portable communication device is provided to reduce abrasion and a dust, and to decrease a mounting space of first and second shafts and a connection member according to the sliding movement of a sliding housing by connecting the sliding housing and the connecting housing having the first and second shafts and a connection member. A first shaft(105) is received in a connecting housing(101). A second shaft(106) is arranged in parallel to the first shaft. The second shaft is received and fixed in a sliding housing(103). A first fixing member and a second fixing member are coupled to one end and the other end of the second shaft respectively. The first and second fixing members fix the second shaft in the sliding housing. A first shaft is inserted into a penetration hole(161a). The first fixing member is positioned on the first shaft. A connection member(107) is fixed in the connecting housing. The connection member is coupled to one end of the first shaft. The connection member is arranged in the second shaft. The connection member moves slidingly along the second shaft. The sliding housing moves slidingly along the length of the connecting housing.
