METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CREATING A BULLETIN BOARD SYSTEM (BBS) MESSAGE INCLUDING A MAP THROUGH A COMMUNICATION NETWORK

A method and a system for producing a BBS message including a map through a communications network which can immediately confirm the location of a place are provided to insert the map related to the content of a message into the message and offer the message, thereby enabling a user to confirm the location of the place mentioned in the message. A system for producing a BBS(Bulletin Board System) message including a map through a communications network receives a request for preparing a message from a user. The system determines whether the user desires to include a map into the message. When it is determined that the user desires to include the map into the message, the system provides a location mapping interface facilitating the configuration of a user-defined map. The system inserts the user-defined map to the message with the location mapping interface. The system stores the message and the map in a database.
