A power supply device having a reset function is provided to prevent insulating collapse of a switch in a dip test process for switching repeatedly on/off states of AC input power or in a re-supply process after interruption of a temporary input AC power during a predetermined set time. A power supply device has a reset function. A rectifier unit(110) rectifies input AC power. A power converter unit(120) switches the power rectified from the rectifier unit and converts the power to DC power having a predetermined voltage level. A control unit(130) controls a switching operation of the power converter unit. A reset unit(140) starts a switching control in a soft starting manner by interrupting a switching control signal of the control unit while the voltage level of the power rectified from the rectifier unit is equal to or less than the predetermined voltage level.
