<p>There is provided an electric motor driving device operable with up to a high load while improving the efficiency of an inverter. The electric motor driving device comprises a voltage conversion circuit (2) for changing a DC voltage value and outputting the changed voltage value, an inverter (3) for converting the DC voltage outputted from the voltage conversion circuit to an AC voltage by the switching operation of a switching device, and a control means for controlling the DC voltage outputted from the voltage conversion circuit and controlling the switching device to control the output voltage of the inverter to drive an electric motor (1). Based on the degree of DC voltage modulation performed by the inverter, the control means performs DC voltage adjustment control for controlling the DC voltage outputted from the voltage conversion circuit in the direction in which said degree of modulation approaches unity.</p> |
