A method for displaying a menu based on service environment analysis and a computer-readable recording medium having a program to implement the same are provided to enhance service extension by including a display menu for a service, which is to be provided in the future, except a display menu corresponding to a service which can be provided currently. A content execution device extracts display menu information from a storage medium by corresponding to a content execution device(S110), and judges whether or not each kind of service corresponding to the display menu included in the extracted menu information can be provided(S130). The content execution device updates menu information based on the judgment(S150), and displays the updated menu information(S170).
