Described is a locked nail improved with regard to those currently available on the market. Said nail presents a novel locking system at the distal portion thereof without the use of a distal plate. In the first two embodiments of the invention it is only required to find out in a plurality of apertures which of them are opened and which are not so that bolts can be inserted therethrough, and in a third embodiment the invention presents a novel form of insertion which none of the current nails present. The purpose of the present invention is to provide specific types of nails that are easily inserted into femur and tibia bones in order to reduce surgery times and the number of pieces required for inserting said nails; the patient, therefore, obtains a more affordable product with low health risks, since long surgery periods of time are reduced. Finally, the purpose of inventing this latest model is to disclose a novel type of nail totally different from those currently available on th e market due to its novel tip construction which allows the nail to be self-blocked at the inner portion of the bone without special outer fittings. The instruments required for inserting the n ail are: an impactor, a screwdriver, an arch and two shirts passing through the arch for locking the proximal apertures.
