A valve apparatus of the shock absorber is provided that the low speed damping force can be controlled since the elasticity of the low disc and groove portion size of the low groove disc are controlled. A valve apparatus of the shock absorber comprises a piston valve in which the rebound flow channel and the compression flow channel are formed, a slit disk(140) in which the slit (140a) controlling the fluid flow between the compression chamber and the rebound flow channel is formed, an auxiliary disk(141) including a hole(141a) being connected to the hole of the slit disk, a low disc(142) supporting the auxiliary disk, a low groove disc(143) in which a plurality of groove portions regularly are formed, a main disc(144) which is bended and transformed while supporting the deformation of the low groove disc.
