FIELD: physics, communication. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to equipment of fibre optic communication and may be used for protection of optical cables (OC) against additional mechanical stresses during local bending in places of installation. Device of protection comprises serially connected bushings, and it has end and intermediate polyvinyl chloride bushings installed in it, with conusoidal external and internal surfaces. ^ EFFECT: minimisation of average number of microbendings, limitation of optical cable critical bend angle, provision of radial bend for reduction of time required for installation in hard-to-reach places. ^ 4 dwg |
