FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns underground water protection against depletion and contamination and mine protection against flooding. The method includes construction of horizontal cutoff, i.e. an artificial confining layer, within a lithological or hydrogeological window. Where there is no the confining layer, vertical mine shaft or shafts pass, from which a ring of radial injection wells is drilled. Based on the well lengths, 2 or 3 zones or intervals are selected for injecting the water-permeable rocks within the window by fixing agents with different viscosity or fluidity and setting or gelling rate, after setting of which a horizontal interformation cutoff is formed in the window area that prevents underground water crossflows between the adjacent beds and contamination of the aquifer used for water supply. ^ EFFECT: prevention of aquifer depletion and contamination by creating horizontal interformation cutoffs within lithological windows. ^ 3 dwg |
